Family Summary


FII Oakland Pilot
The original pilot consisted of 25 families, totaling 124 individuals from the Salvadoran, African American, and Mien communities. The families’ goals ranged from business development/expansion, homeownership, culture preservation, and children’s education.

The second wave of FII Oakland families consisted of 63 families, totaling 281 individuals from the African American, Cambodian, Vietnamese, and mixed raced communities. The families’ goals included homeownership, education, debt reduction and business.

 

FII Hawaii Pilot
The Hawaii pilot consisted of 18 families from the Native Hawaiian and Filipino communities. The families’ goals included debt reduction and credit improvement, savings, and education.

 

FII San Francisco Pilot
The San Francisco pilot totaled 16 families, 86 individuals from the African American, Latino, and Samoan communities. The families’ goals included homeownership, community building, education and business development.
